Day of Rivals
The Day of Rivals is perhaps the most anticipated lacrosse event of the year. This event takes place at the Baltimore Ravens stadium in Maryland. It also showcases the two bestrivalries in College lac rosse, Army vs. Navy and Johns Hopkins vs. Maryland. The Army Navy game puts pride and passion on the line, while the Hopkins Maryland game is back yard bragging rights. This year the underdogs Army look to sink Navy. While the Maryland upeerclassmen look to defeat a young Hopkins squad. This game will also determine who could win the Patriot league tournament which will give either Army or Navy an autpomatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Alos Hopkins is struggling coming off a 4 game losing streak and are at risk to not make the Ncaa tournament but a win over the number 3 terps will give them a great shot. All in All it should be a fun and beautiful day for lacrosse.
