To start off the Lacrosse weekend, Jacksonville University upset number 18 Denver. It is Jacksonville's First Win since moving to Division 1 this year. Denver was up 10-4 but it proved an unsafe lead when Jacksonville came back to win the game 13-12 in triple overtime.
Usa (5) Vs. Canada (3) (Hockey)
In this olympic preliminary the young USA beat the talanted Canadians in an exciting one. The U.S. scored first but the Canadians Kept it close. An empty net goal by USA's Ryan Kessell late in the third period put the game away. This game was especially exciting for bros because bros are very patriotic and love america. This was a great win for the red white and blue.

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing the rematch on Sunday (assuming the U.S. and Canada get by Finland and Slovakia, respectively). It would be nice to get the gold in men's after the disappointing outcome of last night's game between the ladies.
